CDC NSW in partnership with the Yarba Hub and Supply Nation is on the lookout for new business partners and hosted Meet the Buyer event on 11 October to learn more about sustainable businesses interested in working with CDC NSW in the Hunter Valley region.
With a focus on Indigenous businesses that are owned by or employ Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders, the event is a great opportunity for local businesses to showcase their work and learn more about how they can increase collaboration and business opportunities with CDC NSW. The event had more than 10 entrepreneurs interested in joining CDC NSW business as providers.
CDC NSW Chief Executive Officer, Edward Thomas, said “We are excited to be partnering with great organisations including the Yarba Hub and Supply Nation for our first Meet the Buyer event”

In particular, CDC NSW is keen to meet with businesses across industries including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire and safety systems, advertising, uniforms, printing/stationery and others.
CDC NSW is encouraging First Nation Small or Medium enterprises or businesses with an ABN or CAN, a Registered License to work along with Public Liability and Insurance, to come along to the event to find out about the opportunities of becoming a CDC NSW provider.
The event was held on at 2:30pm – 4:30pm (walk-in) on 11 October 2022 at the CDC NSW Depot, 9 High Street, Toronto NSW.
